Thoughts on a Savage .22 MKII

my son has one that shoots very well. He can take out eggs at 50+ yds no problem and for a bench he gets nice quarter sized groups.
He has the synthetic stock and an extra mag. looks to be the death of many a squirrel and g'hog
 
what shop are you looking in, my son got his last year from shydas. I have seen them hovering at this range at wal mart and trops BTW I live on king st in lanc.
 
It WAS at trout run sports in ephrata, I called to tell them to hold it for me and they sold it last night :(
Anyway, I saw a few at the ephrata walmart although not the same model. I am familiar with King st.
I used to live on orange st.
