Those truck/car console vaults

Anybody have one? Where from, is it any good, what brand/model? Was it worth it/do you use it enough?

I think a lot of people will say that Gunvault is the big name out there in car vaults.

I'd find a way to fix a heavier chain or cable to it. There are videos of people cutting through the cable on these car vaults with simple pliers.

I recently bought a Console Vault, and I love it. Solid feel, easy installation. Not the cheapest solution ($249 at Costco.com) but I finally feel comfortable leaving a gun in the car safe from kids and a smash-and-crab thief.

What is your budget? There are many options do you care where it sits?

I would recommend the Bull Dog gun safe. There are a few reasons one. Its not expensive, but not cheap. Its built very sturdy, I use in my car sometimes boat.

You can easily mount it, but also comes with a cable.
