Last count, Bush "owned" more EC Votes than Gore by a moderate margin... well, ABCNews.com has updated their "States of Play" pop-up feature with their latest data and show Bush trailing 179 to Gore's 231... a dramatic plummet from the last count.

Here's to the debates swinging the voters the other way. Indecisive independents feel more secure voting liberal these days. I don't really feel like becoming a socialist country. Sigh.
 
Late last week CNN showed the electoral map and pronounced the election over because Gore was leading in the EC.

Don't believe any single poll, popular or EC.

Be suspicious of any poll affiliated with major news outlet.

This election is a war between the incumbent liberal party and a "moderate" challenging party. All the attributes of warfare apply. Strategic misdirection is something of which to be aware.
