Thompson Contender Calibers

Hello everyone;
I am and have been a Thompson Center Contender fanatic for a number of years now. I have 2 frames and one set up as a carbine with a .30M1 carbine barrel on it, and the other is for pistol and I have about 15 barrels for it. All calibers from 17 hmr through .45 Win Mag. Have a 7x30 waters super 14 with muzzle tamer on it and a 2x7 TC scope. I can shoot holes in the caps of wine bottles at 100 yards with it. I love the pistol. Now for my question.......would anyone out here have the full list of calibers that were made over the years for the Contender by TC??? I am sure they made barrels in calibers I do not have yet. I have looked on the internet but have not been able to find what I am looking for. Any help??? Thanks in advance.

What TC didn't offer, JD Jones did on a custom basis. I had a .22 Hornet, K-Chromed frame from SSK industries, along with a super 14 .223, but I sold them years ago. I still own a reg Blue framed Contender, .22 Super 14" scoped, a .45/.410, a .375 Winchester (not fun to shoot!:eek:), and a .44 mag. I would check with TC or Fox Run outfitters in Rochester NH to try to get an accurate listing of calibers that have been made in the past/present. Kittery Trading Post in Southern Maine often has a huge selection of used TC barrels. Both Fox Run outfitters and Kittery Trading post have websites if you google them.

There are also the non-catalog barrels that T/C made only for the TCA members. The TCA can tell you all the various calibers and barrel lengths offered over the years.

Mike Bellm, up in Oregon I think, turned out a number of custom wildcats at one time. There are probably a hundred or more chamberings in the Contender.
