Let's say you were into motorcycles. You can go to cycleworld.com and they have a similar forum that is not controlled. Well you have a bunch of smarta** kids on there not giving any contribution towards motorcycles. I mean that forum s*cks

I have to give this administrative staff "ups" for keeping this forum straight.

Good work gentlemen, this forum is full of more information any avid firearm enthusiast would ever need.

Personally, I like SOME off topic stuff (like the FUD files & LawDog reports). It fosters a spirit of fellowship and comraderie (sp?) that gives this board a real feeling of community. I HOPE that the new regimen won't be too harsh, and will allow a certain level of fellowship to continue.

We'll all be the poorer without it.

Dennis, I agree with you completely. Although I will readliy abide by the new "mission", I will miss the general topics that are sometimes discussed here. TFL has always been a place where any of us could come to talk to our friends, about almost anything (women, cars, general stupidity).

There is a fellowship here that I hope is not lost with the new "ingredients".

I like this forum. The "FUD" files and the like are more of a "cult classic" then anything else.. they will always endure. I understand the work behind this and don't blame anyone or thing for a tighter rein of the rules. We (the other folks) don't have to moderate or keep the system up 24/7. But, I don't think that the FUD files or anything of that order will be banned. Just MHO.
