Muslims do not believe in the holy birth of Christ and yet, they're
getting their own "Christmas Holiday" stamp.

Christians cannot even "dream" of posting the ten commandments on federal
property, yet, the USPS, who is funded by the Federal Government, is
HONORING the Islamic Religion.

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of PanAm
Flight 103!

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the World
Trade Center in 1993!

REMEM! BER the MUSLIM bombing of the Marine
barracks in Lebanon!

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the military
barracks in Saudi Arabia!

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the American
Embassies in Africa!

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the USS COLE!

REMEMBER the MUSLIM attack on the Twin Towers on 9/11/2001!

REMEMBER all the AMERICAN lives that were
lost in those vicious MUSLIM attacks!

Now the United States Postal Service REMEMBERS and HONORS the
EID MUSLIM holiday season with a commemorative first class
holiday postage stamp.

REMEMBER to adamantly and vocally BOYCOTT this stamp
when purchasing your stamps at the post office.
To use this stamp would be a slap in the face to all those

AMERICANS who died at the hands of those whom this stamp honors.

REMEMBER to pass this along to every patriotic AMERICAN you know

edit2: and it's "Holiday Celebration" stamps, not "Christmas Holiday" stamps. Hey, I don't believe in the birth of christ, holy or unholy, but I still want some damn santa claus stamps. :D

final edit: you should make note that those attacks were by muslim extremists and do not represent the muslim faith anymore than the spanish inquisition represents christianity

Virgin birth of Jesus is the Koran.

Eid isn't Christmas. It has nothing to do with Christmas. Why on earth would you connect belief in Jesus with getting a stamp put out for Eid, the end of Ramadan?



I'm predicting a lock...but I want to thank you for making this stamp known to me. I'm going to go buy a roll to show my support for American muslims right now.
 
Christmas has nothing to do with the birth of christ if people actually pay attention to the bible. December 25th is a pagan holiday and the birth of christ was supposedly in the middle of the year. Baby jesus wasn't born in a winter wonderland, folks.

You should know that by now...and yes I WILL BOYCOTT them. For all of you that believe that it was the extremists that did the bombings.....THAT IS MAINSTREAM ISLAM!! The watered down Islam in much of the US isn't mainstream. BTW: Many of the Muslim faith in this country are against this country and want it to fall under Islamic control.

How do you guys not see this? No disrespect to you red...we had a good discussion earlier.

Islam denys the cruxifiction of Jesus. You may or may not believe that Jesus was the son of god, you may or may not believe that he was ressurected after death. But the cruxifiction is historical fact.

They also are completely intolerant of christians and jews on their lands, they won't even allow muslems to choose a different religion if they wanted to, under pain of death. No stamps from other religions ever in islamic lands.

Better yet, I'm buying five rolls and using the Eid stamps to pay all of my bills, so that the companies I do business with get started with marketing to Muslims too.

Double thanks for this thread....I might not have ever found such a wonderful way to express my religious tolerance and support for Muslims otherwise.

Everyone go to yahoo real quick....interesting article of France toughening up immigration laws. Kinda funny, they allow tons of Muslims to come in and keep their entire way of life. A major problem and wham....

Because I've known many Muslims in my short time and I never experienced this. Perhaps you're right that Islam in the US is watered down but no more so than any other religion. Ever met a true Roman Catholic...that lives in Rome? Far, far cry from the once a week Mass folk here that have no problem using condoms or allowing women to work.

I can't understand how the Muslim faith can be called any more violent and brutal than the Christian faith. I don't see how the Quran is any worse than the Bible.

To Rebar who points out that Islam denies the historical fact of the crucifixion, don't forget that many Christian religions deny the historical facts and scientific evidence that support the theories of evolution and the big bang. Their denial of a historical fact does not make them worse than Christianity nor does the denial of anything having to do with Jesus make them bad people or misguided in their beliefs.

I don't agree with the tennants of their religion. I could never see myself believing much of what Islam teaches. But the religion is not to blame for their actions, the people themselves are. The problem in thinking otherwise is that then all peaceful Muslims are lumped in with the extremists; I don't think any good Christian wants to be associated with the KKK or Pat Robertson, now do they?

For the remaining 99.9% of Muslims in the world I wish them peace and a wonderful life and the chance to practice there religion as they see fit.

So they're including the Muslim winter holiday in their holiday line, along with Christmas. I'm more steamed about the Kwanza thing...
