Thinwall Screw In Chokes?

Experiences with thinwall screw in chokes?

I bought the tools from brownells but they have different specifications for the application I want, my barrels are .805" (o.d) and the reamer says .778 + 2(.15")=.808".

would you go for it?

any advice is welcome.

Pepe, it always depends on how concentric the barrels are. Dave Mansen includes a sheet with his reamers that calls for 2(.010") if the bore is concentric to the barrel. But the diameter of a thinwall reamer is .775" instead of .778" so plus 2(.015) would give you .805". Again though if the barrel/bore aren't concentric you could still have problems. George
