over the past six months I've sold four of my shotguns. The last one, my Stevens 311/5100 20ga SxS. That one found a good home with our brother Mike Irwin.
Now comes the very difficult decision, whether to sell my 70's vintage first generation Remington 1100, or not. I picked this gun up last fall at another estate sale. It's definitely a closet queen. 95% NRA condition with two barrels. The original 28" mod and a 26" skeet. Both fixed choke. I'm a real 1100 freak, owned a half dozen of them over the years. I was on the hunt for another one and this beauty came to me.
As much as I cherish the 1100's, I will never use this one. It now has become my closet queen. Too easy just to pull out my favorite flavor of the day O/U and run with it. I'm fretting over this one and hope I don't regret doing something stupid. Help!!
Take a look, this one has some of the nicest wood I've seen on a 1100...
here it is with the 26" skeet barrel...
