Thinning out & maybe upgrading

I sold a SS Marlin 795 & a Savage MKII FV and ordered a CZ 452 American.

I sold a Kimber Compact II, S&W M&P 340 & a SA TRP and I'm thinking about ordering a Wilson CQB Compact in SS, but havn't priced them yet.

I hate to see a firearm go but there is only so much room in the safe. I won't sell any heirlooms but quality beats quantity from now on.

Yup. Know all about 'only so much room in the safe'. But all of the sudden the safes seem to be multiplying. (And I still never seem to have enough room for every thing.)

I was going to say I'm in the 'never sell one of your guns' camp but I just realized almost all my guns were bought used.

That is, if somebody hadn't decided to try something new at the expense of something old I'd have a really, really small collection.

So good on you. Variety just might be the spice of life.

For what it's worth the salesman at my local gun store is VERY enthusiastic about the CZ 452 rifles-claims their accuracy is superb.
