Thinking of Buying Marlin XL7 in .270win

I'm tossing around the idea of buying a brand new Marlin XL7 bolt action in .270win. Mostly because of the price. Anyone own one of these in any caliber and have anything good or bad to say about it? How is the accuracy?

Just because I'm a glutton for punishment & over 280 pounds (Nosetackle), I have the .30-06 XL7...great rifle :)

The .270 is more than enough for whitetail & other critters...it'll do the job.
The sub-MOA characteristics of the X-7 series will give you solid performance!

And if you are bored with the synthetic stock...Boyd's Riflestocks carries several different Laminates!

I have shouldered and dry fired a marlin XL and XS7 on more than one occasion. They are WAY better trigger than their price would dictate. If Marlin made an XS7 in .223, I would buy one for each of my teenage sons in short order.
