Why do YOU want one? Like its feel? Fits you perfect? Just because no one else has one? Like its looks? Price is too attractive to pass up? Shot one better than any other gun you've ever tried? Italian heritage? Matched set for your Mercury?

Hey, NB. I've had a Beretta 8040 Mini Cougar since December 1997. It's very reliable and has never had a jam or FTF. I've been told recently that it's more accurate than a Beretta 96. One of these days I'll do a side by side test between my 8040 Mini Cougar and my 96.
On the other hand, the recoil is sharper from an 8040 Mini Cougar than from a Glock 22 and I rarely use the 8-round mag - meaning I'm basically using it as a "Cougar" and not a "Mini" Cougar.
I like the 8040 Mini Cougar but I also like the 96. If I had to choose only one, then it would be my Inox 96.
