Thinking about selling my CMP 1911 Hard Case

My CMP 1911 came with a "CMP" tan waterproof hard case. Kinda like a Pelican but not. I see the CMP Rifle cases fetching as much as $100 one ebay and there are no 1911 cases for sale.

What future value to a collector might a CMP hard case have in conjunction with the CMP pistol?

Thinking about putting it up for $150 because I think someone is crazy enough to pay that.
 
Traditionally guns are always worth more with their original paperwork and boxes/packaging. I think you are being foolish and greedy over what amounts to a few dollars. Within a week or two after you sell the case, the money will have evaporated and then you won't have either the case or the dough.

I'd keep it with the gun if it were me and, without a CMP pistol, I'd have zero interest in paying $50 or more for a case.
 
$150 bucks ! ! Oh how greedy we can become, but that comes from a person who tends to give everything away....
