I am really wanting to get a subgun, thats isnt full auto. i know that might draw some cynicism from some forumites, but thats just what i want... anyone know where i can get a god MAC-10 shooting 9mm??

Also, are these firearms presumed as reliable as the Uzi? thanks

With my favorite being this lil jem for 319 bucks. I'm almost tempted, but I'd have to hold it in my hand first. And that's still a lot of money for a range toy.

ok, forget the Uzi. I am going to get this MAC-10.. man thats a steal for 300 bucks!!! wow!!! i hope they have it in about a week!!! when i have the cash.

I went and bought a Vulcan Arms V-10 in 9mm and it works great. The only complaint I have about it is the cocking knob is about half the height of the one pictured. Being that it was new, it was sometimes hard to cock the hammer back. So, I got a new knob thats like the one in the picture that has a cutout for the sight and is milled on the sides where it enters the upper so that it does not rotate like the old one did. I find its now easier to cock (maybe cuz I have run a couple of boxes through it too) now that I replaced it with one like this one. Just be careful where you put your fingers if you hip fire it all movie  style and what not.

My research on them

Masterpiece arms makes a good semiauto mac varient.Dealer price on them is much much lower than 310 bucks. Some ffl holders will order it 10 bucks plus shipping over cost.

the 45 acp version resembles an original ingram mac externally, its bigger, fatter and significantly heavier than the 9mm m11 version. It also uses unmodified ww2 greasegun smg mags.

The 9mm varient is exactly as pictured in the above post. These use unmodified ww2 sten smg mags.

Both versions have either a top cocking knob or a side cocking knob.Theres even a mini version out thats half the size of the m11.The main difference between the MPA copy and others is a redesigned bolt and everything is cnc machined and heat treated plus the cost is significantly lower.

rats! I almost talked myself into getting one and at this point, I cant afford another toy.
