Think I made a decent trade

So I happened upon someone in my local Facebook gun group who was trading a Ruger LC9s Pro for another compact 9mm. I offered up my Kahr CW9, and a deal was made this morning. I think I came out pretty good, honestly I think it was an even trade:

My side:
1 Kahr CW9- bought used by me, probably had about 100-200 rounds from me down the pipe. New Trijicons (that I only paid $70 including installation), a Galco Matrix holster, 2 7rd mags, and 1 8 rd mags.

His side:
Ruger LC9s Pro, unfired. Bladetech IWB holster, used a few times, never carried, box, paperwork, soft pouch, and 2 mags.

So far, I'm liking the Ruger. I had been eyeballing the LC9s Pro for a while, and look forward to breaking it in some. :)

Between October 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015, customers can trade in their used, hammer-fired LC9 at their local firearms retailer toward the purchase of a new LC9s® striker-fired pistol and receive a $100 gift certificate code for ShopRuger.com, Ruger's online sportswear and accessories store.

I'm not a fan of the Kahr triggers and I've heard good things about the LC9S. But it's not everyday you hear about someone trading a Kahr for a Ruger.

How do you like the Ruger trigger?

If you are happy with the trade and it is completed what is the point of the post? In past years before the lawers screwed society into watching their back more than living and enjoying life i enjoyed trading firearms, 55 Chevy's and whatever. When a trade was made I have always tried to avoid "buyers remorse" and the resulting crocodile tears and enjoy ( or sometimes make another quick trade of the now unwanted item) what ever i traded for. I guess what i am trying to understand is why the post did not proceed the trade rather than post trade the post (?) :)

Sounds like a great trade...the 9s is a great little pistol from the time I've spent behind the trigger of a friend of mine.

It's funny, sounds like the previous owner fell into the "It's a ruger, they're junk" mindset.

Aren't facebook BST groups the best. I'm a member of probably 75 or so most gun and fishing, a few jeep and vehicle/atv related. Along with just general interest groups. I've made several deals now off FB and haven't had a single issue compared to the easily spotted Craigslist scams.
