The UN is conducting a campaign to to reduce or eliminate "the indiscriminate and unlawful use of light weapons" including small arms. Leading this effort are the Canadian and Japanese goverenments, both advocates of extreme gun control laws.
Some proposed actions would eliminate civilian access to "military ammunition and weapons" If adopted by the UN and ratified by the United States goverenment this would effectively eliminate approximately two-thirds of all hunting rifles and ammunition.
The UN is not our friend!
 
In other news, war in the Middle East, a rock musician is involved in a drug bust, and the federal budget deficit increases.

You better believe they are not our friends!!!

The UN is every other P.O.S. countries "excuse" to get there foot in the door and take what we have!

Can't trust'em any further than we can throw them.

Can't wait to see'em desolved...

The UN needs to be dissolved and run out of this country. We are paying to much into this outfit to have them come here and dictate to us. Don't need them minding our business,when most of them can't straighten out there own.

Any organization that Ted Turner gives money to, I'm wholeheartedly against. Also, IMO, his darling wife (Hanoi Jane Fonda) was at the wwrong end of that NVA AAA gun.
