There's gun safety and then there's......

works now, and dang...that's some special behavior. "Hey bob, watch me hold this rifle in front of my face!" who ever thought that was a good idea?

Wow.

If a picture's worth a thousand words a video like this is just...

(Maybe I should switch to stamp collecting or coins...coins are actually money you know?)

A couple of those are great examples of why eye protection is critical at the range. True accidents do happen even to good, safe shooters.

Wow. Some of those are simple mishaps, and some of those are plain, old, garden-variety stupid. (The guy in the Speedo who's obviously impaired comes to mind.)

I once saw a Dragon missile take off for the sky straight up instead of towards its target downrange, but never saw a missile just fall on the ground in front of its launcher. That's got to be scary

I wonder how many of the women in these videos were coaxed into shooting by their idiot boyfriends, who just wanted to set up something he thought would be funny (not really funny at all)

I am always amazed at the idiots who think it is cool to give a kid or female new shooter some monstrous cannon to shoot for their first time handling a gun - those folks need to be flushed down the drain of the gene pool

Some of those are high recoiling guns that the people knew full well what was going to happen. The one with the 4 bore had two people waiting to catch the person shooting.

Have to admire the girl that kept shooting the shotgun till she fell over, she at least kept the muzzle pointed in a safe direction. There is another one where she at least practices proper muzzle control.

Lots of people who don't know how to shoot a pistol grip shotgun.

Very true, but lets not forget that there ARE some women who shoot those guns knowing full well that Newtons 2nd law is against them. They just want to try it just so they can say they did.

Nice catch at 3:15.

There is over three minutes of video with the .577 T-REX at the end. None of that is "accident", everyone there knew full well what they were getting into. If I had a chance to shoot the .577 you bet your bum I'd so it and I'd look just as dumb as most of the other people there. You try shooting a gun that fires a shell like this:
