Last week, I shot in the NBRSA Benchrest Group Nationals. I was there mostly to have fun, with no dreams of really placing too high, and it's a good thing that I went into it feeling that way, cuz I didn't... I agged in at approximately 0.4" for the three "guns" I shot in. That's 30 groups averaging 0.4", half shot at 100, and half at 200 yards - FWIW, the winner averaged something on the order of 0.24".

My small group was 0.132, and was shot with my 6PPC barrel. Large group - well, I'd prefer to block that memory... I never could really "tune" my .22PPC barrel, and it was _very_ windy. After the first day of shooting the .22 and the 6 (with "moderate" loads), I hit the practice targets, and tried to figure out how much H322 I could cram in the 6PPC case. Nice little groups resulted, with very little vertical dispersion, but I would pop about one primer in every dozen or so. That can be a hassle...
