The Wilderness "Safepack"

Yes, I have several of them. It's an interesting item and pretty conveniant. I use mine primarily for backpacking. You can strap the Safepacker to your hipbelt and be good to go. It looks like all your other gear, so the rabbit people are none the wiser about you being armed. The Wilderness makes very high quality stuff, and the Safepacker is an outstanding example.

Depends on what it's secured to. It has an adjustable flap on the back that secures with velcro. It has considerable range as to what it can attach to. A Dana Design hipbelt is about the max. The Wilderness also has some briefcase/organizers that the Safepacker is designed to attach to. All I can say is, it seems to stay put.

It's basically a square case padded with closed cell foam. No part of the gun is exposed. It has room for one extra magazine, and some of the older, larger Safepackers have a compartment under the flap.

The SafePack can also be had from Wilderness Tactical with a fanny-type belt, a more elaborate padded fanny-type belt that has a couple of water bottle holders, can be carried with a shoulder strap, has a hand strap on top, and can pretty much be mounted on anything up to six inches wide. It's a nice product--unique even. It's stealthy as hell since it looks nothing like any other pistol waistpack.

They must have changed the design since I bought mine. I would rather use a green or blue REI fanny pack for discretion any day. That said, it is a neat little pouch that will fasten to a pack or? when you are out camping. It works great with the mini brief/bag that makes it look much less conspicuous.
