Hi All,

Just brought home a pretty nice revolver. Have never fired an N frame before, but it felt nearly as nice as a 1911 or a K-frame Smith in my hands. There are a couple of spots on the right side of the revolver where the blueing is just gone. They are both on the barrel. Can anyone recommend what to put on there to prevent rusting? Neither of them show any signs of discoloration, but I would hate lose this one to neglect!

Jim, a light coat of any good gun oil like Hoppe's will work fine. And if you will get one of those silicone cloths and wipe the pistol down each time you handle it that will protect it pretty well. George

So it won't be neccessary to apply some of that "cold blueing" compound? Just a light coat of BreakFree?

This is a Good thing
