Let's say in the next election, that a pro-RKBA president gets elected and can appointment judges to the Supreme Court that seem to be sympatico to the cause. Scalia and Thomas seem to be. I really haven't followed the others in detail.
So if there were at least 5 that looked good, would it be the time for a real 2nd Amend. challenge to restrictive state laws that might give gun rights back to the people.
For example, a challenge to the various California laws. For example, if LA really banned ammo sales or the SKS bans.
How about the Sullivan Law in NY. It is impossible to get a permit in NYC for the average guy. Attack it as was done with voting by blacks in the South?
There is a TX case in the works but it would nice to see a planned real challenge.
