The pride and joy of my collection

This is my Savage 110 in 7mm Rem mag. 28'' barrel with a 1:9'' twist, I just love this old girl she is fine shooter for sure.

My fav. Loading is:
150gr Nosler ballistic tip
imr 4831-63gr
3130fps
3200ft/lbs

This is an extremely accurate loading out of this rifle. Its a clover city round. It is also my hunting load.

3200 ft/lbs. Jeez... I'd hate to be the deer on the business end of that 7mm!

Can't ever get 'em too dead.

I'm fond of all things .284/7mm though I tend to favor the 7mm08 these days. I do own quite a few 7mm Mags with my No.1 being my favorite.

I forget some people live in places where you only get one or two tags. If I kill mutiples with one shot (has happened once) then I just get to take two to the processor. Plus my average gets better on shots to kills.

I shoot high shoulder and neck shots, never worry too much about wasted meat. But DRT means back the truck up, not tracking through the swamp at night.

Damn 28 inches, that sucker will burn all that powder. Ever shot any Accubonds, try the 160 grn, and use IMR 7828. It should like 'em with that 1 in 9 inch twist:)

Yours looks well loved too.

I've got the same gun, although the lefty version and can testify that those 110 7mm Rem Mags are indeed shooters. I wouldn't trade mine for any thing.
