Today Smith & Wesson officials met with its various distibutors in Nashville to discuss the HUD agreement and related topics. It was no accident that the Government announced the beginning of it's antitrust probe today. They very much want to convince S&W to stay the course.....
They also want to show that the full and mighty weight of the US Government will be brought to bear against those who dare to resist. The rule is, always accuse us of using the tactics that they employ. Tomorrow we will be hearing the results of the dicussion in Nashville. Let's hope that courage and reason overpowered greed and emotion. Goodnight all and good shooting!

INSIDER, I note you are fairly new in these parts ... welcome to TFL. I wish we all could have met under better circumstances.

I am not advocating violence in any way. I will note, however, that the hysteria and attacks upon the RKBA are nearly reaching a fever pitch lately. It almost feels like the beginning of a war.

And, perhaps that is where we now stand. A civil rights movement to rival that of the 60's. An 'anti-war' movement of the same tenor. A new, civil rights conflict to defend, or lose, the RKBA.

And, ironically, the first 'shots' have been fired following a British attack upon our RKBA 'cache'.

Perhaps this is all just so much hyperbole. I hope so, but I wonder ...
