The PD in 340PD

Most believe that a carry/personal defense gun will be beneficial in black or other darker non reflective tones. Less attention from a shiny weapon etc...they wont show as easily, on your person, if you happen to let someone get a glimpse of your gun.
Shoot well

Personal Defense sells
Black sells.
Next will be "340PDT" (Tacticle)
And couple years later "340UTPD" Ultimate Tacticle Personal Defense.

Also, in the 340 model doesn't the PD imply an internal (concealed) hammer, vs. the spurred hammer on the SC?

No!
