Hi all,
I know someone who is conducting some research who is looking for some information on the old Hi-Standard Manufacturing Co. in Hamden CT. I believe they were a gun or ammunition making factory. If anyone has any information or knows of anyone who worked there I will gladly get the info to her. I dont even know when the plant officially closed.

I have a high standard pistol. I can't remember who, a fellow range shooter or gun shop fella, but someone I showed it to seemed to know what happened to the factory. I'll try to find out.
 
High Standard was in Hamden from 1951-1976. From 1932-1952 to that they were in New Haven after acquiring Hartford Arms and Equipment, but did operate a different plant in Hamden from 1940-1949 during that time.
