The new PM9 is HERE!

I'm generally an extremely impatient person... especially when new toys are involved. I know Kahr said "shipping in May", on their new polymer framed, MK sized pistol, but I've been bugging my FFL buddy Sam for 2 weeks now about availability. Well, Sam called his wholesaler for me again yesterday, and THEY HAVE SOME :)
I didn't tell you guys yesterday, because I wanted to be sure and get over to Sam's place so he could order mine... just in case the supply is low...

Sam's cost right now is $475, which should put my bill somewhere around $525 + tax....

So go ye and order all you want... I've got my order in... Should be here next week :D

Now I just gotta make up a story to tell the wife :eek:
 
So, they're finally available?
Please, keep us posted. I'm seriously looking into getting one, but I'm waiting to see if there are any unexpected problems.
 
Well, Sam (my FFL Dealer) just called me back... :confused: Turns out that the wholesaler has them entered into his computer (KPM9093A) and has X number of them either in inventory or scheduled for inventory... at any rate, the wholesaler is only taking pre-orders for them... and they still won't ship until May 1. Either way, I put $200 down on it, and Sam confirmed my order with them, so first one they get in is mine...

Sorry for speaking too soon. I was just passing along what I was told yesterday. Turns out that it was probably the P9 covert the wholesaler was confusing the PM9 with when he said they were already in, or maybe Sam just heard him wrong...

Having much experience with the P9 and P40, I have no problem at all putting down the cash on the first PM9 off the line that I can get my hands on. I fully expect it to work flawlessly, and if it doesn't, I know Kahr will make it work at no cost to me...

I have owned the MK9, the P9 and the P9 covert. I think the P9 covert, will conceal in a pocket or ankle holster just as well. The 3.5 inch barrel will have less muzzle flip and deliver more energy than the 3 inch barrel.
