i am considering buying a tc encore with a fixed barrel in 50 cal iwas wondering if anyone knows of any pros and cons of this particular gun also what powder / bullet combination would u recommend also what kind of accuracy should i expect out of this rifle

Are you talking about the new model with the non-interchangable barrel or the normal Encore where you can change calibers? I've heard of the new one but can't see any reason for it. I just picked up my first Encore ML a month or so ago. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. It will be replacing my T/C Omega. With that one, I can get 1MOA pretty regularly.

yes i am talking about the fixed action version the reason being i cant see myself buying any other barrels mainly because im partial to a remington 700 bolt action in a centerfire rifle and also i can pickup the fixed action up for $475 thats a pretty good price considering the price of tc's other muzzelloaders not the cheapest but still a good deal also i have handled an encore muzzelloader and like the feel of it

Be sure to read the manual !!!

When you get this M/L, it will come with an instruction manual with loading data. It will list a Max, Min and optimum load based on you Shot-String. This is just a starting point and then range-time is in order. From that, you will come up with what works best for you. Working up you optimum shot-string is one of the most challenging and important part of setting yours up.. ... ;)

Used but not abused

remington 700 ml; how about one of those dave
Good point as there are many good used M/L's that will fit your bill and not break your wallet. ..... ;)

Unless it comes with a great scope, I think you can do much better for that $475. My last year's ML was a T/C Omega Z5. I can shoot under 1MOA using 250grn Hornady SSTs and 100grn of loose 777. I paid only about $250 for it (plus the scope).

what r ur needs

suggest a cal for deer and trget or larger animals

50 cal for deer and target w alot of loads and projectiles or

54 for larger animals less numbers of projectiles available
