Undocumented Worker in Critical Condition
Four Other Immigrants Feared Dead

Sasabe, Arizona (May 15, 2000)-- La Voz de Aztlan has learned that

two Arizona
ranchers on horseback and armed with high power hunting rifles
shot
and critically
wounded an undocumented Mexican worker attempting to cross the
border
near
Sasabe, Arizona on Friday. Four other young men accompanying 20
year
old Miguel
Angel Palofox Aguerrin of Guasave, Sinaloa are feared dead at the
hands of the
vigilantes.

La Voz de Aztlan confirmed with Sasabe, Sonora, Mexico police
authorities that in the
early morning hours of Friday, May 12, Miguel and four of his
companions came under
lethal attack by two Anglos on horseback porting sidearms and high

power hunting
rifles. Miguel, who is in critical condition with a shot to the
head
at the Servicios
Medicos de Sonora (Semeson) in Caborca, informed the Sesabe,
Sonora
authorities
that his group was suddenly ambushed by the two vigilantes. He
managed to take a
good look at the "shooters" before a high impact bullet tore
through
his neck and exited
through his ear. He told police that he remembers seeing his
companions fall after also
being shot but there have been no bodies recovered as of today.
The
incident occurred
approximately 4 miles from the border on US territory according to

Roberto Burgos
Molina of the Mexican Consulate in Nogales, Arizona.

Miguel informed Mexican police authorities that he lost
consciousness
soon after the
bullet impact to his head. He remembers seeing his companions get
shot also and falling
to the ground. When he regained consciousness, he was on the
ground
bleeding
profusely. He was able to drag himself to the border crossing
station
at Sesabe where
he was given immediate medical attention and taken to a hospital
at
Caborca, Sonora.
It is not known if the youth survived the ordeal nor of the
condition
of his four
companions.

On Saturday a group of Arizona vigilante ranchers were joined by
white supremacist
groups from California for a meeting at Sierra Vista, Arizona for
the
explicit purpose of
discussing a plan on how to deal with what they call "a Mexican
invasion" by
undocumented workers. A white supremacist by the name of Glenn
Spencer, head of a
group called American Patrol, led a contingent of California
anti-Mexican bigots to the
meeting with vigilante rancher Roger Barnett who told US World
Report
that he is
ready to "kill Mexicans" if it became necessary. The meeting was
also
attended by the
Arizona 9th District of the Imperial Wizards of the Klux Klax Klan

according to the
newspaper La Reforma of Mexico. According to La Reforma, a
proposal
surfaced at
the meeting to place anti-personnel land mines at strategic places

along the border in
order to deter illegal immigration by Mexicans. The meeting was
heavily policed by the
Sierra Vista Police Department and by the Arizona Rangers.

Arazona Rangers? ARAZONA RANGERS? There have not been any Arizona Rangers since 1909 or there abouts. There would have to have been some real old men policing that meeting.

I'm glad to see him in a Mexican hospital . If he was in a hospital here we would be paying .

Hmm. If I remember correctly, Atzlan is keyed to a group that's about half-a-sneeze away from being terrorists.

Aztlan is the name they give to a country consisting of California, Baja California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. Apparently the big goal is to take over those states and form their own nation.

I forget what the name of the group is, though. Must not have had much of an impact on me.

I would take any 'News releases' from that bunch with about six pounds of salt.

Since Texas is bout two states wide, fantasy here; do a fifty fifty split along the border.

Calif, Ariz, New Mexico, Texas, Nevada, Utah, Colorado and Oklahoma; plus ; Baja Ca, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo Leon and Tamauipas. Put it all together as a Constitutional Republic. Thirteen states.

Lots of agriculture, water, mining, seaports, manufacturing, hunting, fishing, great weather and anything else that FREE citizens could want. Take the government back to continental congress size. Tiny standing army but a fully armed citizenry.

Oops, just woke up; already been done.

Yes, Aztlan is a revolutionary secessionist group, and yes La Raza are a bunch of reds, and yes we need to effectively patrol our borders, and perhaps this news release is a lot of noise, but can anyone seriously condone hunting humans, or sniping at illegal immigrants?

I hope this a lot of noise, but those KKK types and their fellow travellers are crazy enough to pull some murderous stunt like this.

Sounds like a lot of BS to me. If true, I'd certainly never condone shooting unarmed people who weren't using lethal force against me.

So, this fellow was shot in the neck with a high-powered rifle, the slug exited his ear, and he dragged himself 4 miles to a border crossing? Sorry. Can't buy that one. The 'reporter' got a bit carried away with that fairy tale.

Any story involving the
quote:
Klux Klax Klan
 is a wee bit suspect. I wonder if this bunch is affliated with the Ku Klux Klan. May be a copyright infringement there somewhere. :)

Plus, the reporter needs to get his facts straight, ie--we have a man

quote:
Miguel, who is in critical condition with a shot to the head at the Servicios Medicos de Sonora (Semeson) in Caborca,
but, a paragraph later:

quote:
He was able to drag himself to the border crossing station at Sesabe where he was given immediate medical attention and taken to a hospital at Caborca, Sonora. It is not known if the youth survived the ordeal
Let's get our propaganda straight, hmm? Either he's alive or he's not.

Plus, if he took a round from a
quote:
high power hunting rifles
that
quote:
high impact bullet tore through his neck and exited through his ear
he ain't dragging himself nowhere, and darn sure not four miles to a border crossing on the Mexican side of the border.

The assailant is on horseback (calls up a nice imagery of poor mexicans being used for sport), and the victim sees his friends being shot down around him, and sees enough of the assailant to verify him as being male and gringo--but-- the round hits in the neck and exits the ear.

The round hits the side of the victim. At an upward trajectory. Fired by a man sitting on top of a horse.

Hackcoughchokebullspitsputterchokehack. Sorry. Something got stuck in my throat. I'm much better now.

Nice try, Voz de Atzlan. Couple of more years of practice and you might be able to churn out believable propaganda. I give it a D-.

LOL!!!!

That is hilarious. Are you sure that was not in the National Enquirer right next to the story about Rosie O' having herself cloned?

ROTFLMAO!

Remember that this propaganda isn't aimed at YOU. It's aimed at followers of Aztlan, whatever they call themselves. It's telling them exactly what they want to believe, that they are justified in taking from those ranchers anything they can get because they are so evil.

This is nothing to laugh at.

Are there any more 'Zonies out there? Does anyone outside of Southern AZ really want to know the real story? Did anyone care that two hunters were ROBBED AND MURDERED in Santa Cruz County while bow hunting by these harmless Mexican workers? Did anyone mention the border bandits that harassed, robbed, raped and pilliaged the evil ranchers BEFORE THEY STARTED ARMING THEMSELVES? Did anyone mention the FIRE FIGHTs that our border patrol agents get into with MEXICAN SOLDIERS 5 MILES WITHIN THE TERRITROY OF THE US? Did anyone mention that by the BORDER PATROL"S OWN ESTIMATES over FIFTY PERCENT of these poor Mexican workers are DRUG RUNNERS? Did anyone mention that Squad of Marines on manuevers out of Yuma were ATTACKED by a numerically superior ARMED DRUG RUNNERS USING AK47's and heavy infantry weapons? (The jarheads kicked ass. The druggies didn't know these guys were on a live fire mission) Did anyone mention that a high percentage of these "poor Mexican workers" sneek into the USA, come to cities like Tucson, committ assualts, robberies, burglaries and all kinds of crimes, then scurry back across the border to avoid prosecution?

I myself was almost attacked by these "poor Mexican workers". My buddy was almost killed by these "poor Mexican workers" while hunting. My buddy was in a blind while bow hunting when about ten of these guys popped out of the brush. He stayed still trying to wait them out. They spotted him and tried to circle him. He is Hispanic and speaks Spanish. He acted like there were more hunters and called thier bluff.

I was desert hopping in my truck when I came up on a bunch of guys. They flagged me down, one guy said that their friend was hurt and needed to get to the doctor. When the guy who was talking to me turned and looked at his buddies and thinking I don't speak Spanish, "eso los chingoso" Translation from slang Spanish "Let's f++k him up". And he also told his bussies that they were taking the truck and my money. He turn back to me and was looking straight down the muzzle of my 1911. Told this guy in Spanish "GO AWAY" and I popped the clutch and was gone. I managed to find a DPS cop sitting radar. I told him the whole story and he naturally said that I was lucky. He called it in and that's all I know.

I am the son of immagrents. I have all the sympathy for those who want to get to this country and find better lives. Hell that is what America is supposed to be all about. But the situation is out of control in these parts. Even the Mexicvans that jumped through all the hoops and got here legally don't like these guys. And of course our President just sits on his hands and looks the other way becuase cracking down on the border might piss off some liberal group.

From Beemerb's link, an article "A Call to Action!"

"The shooting and killing of our brothers and sisters from Mexico crossing the border will not be tolerated by the U.S. Latino leadership..."

To Aztlan:

The shooting and killing of Americans by trespassing, international terrorists will not be tolerated by American citizens.

It's called a "border" for a reason.

Cross *my* border (my property) and you will be in similar jeopardy. You've stolen, destroyed, and killed parts of my property before. Therefore, your mere presence on my property terrifies me and puts me in fear of your use of deadly force against me and my family.

If you don't like it, take your "U.S. Latino leadership" out there with you.
