Hello Everyone,
Im glad to see that we gun lovers/RESPECTERS can access such valuable resources. Im only 17 but I have a LARGE interest in all guns and weapons, be it both civilian and miliatary in nature. (Please dont think of me as some crazy kid who is also a gun nut).
I have a very GREAT RESPECT FOR GUNS AND THOSE WHO SHOOT. But enough about me lets move to the heart of the matter:

I was recenty looking in to buying an H&K SL8-1 rifle. I was wondering if anyone out there can tell me how they shoot, what you think of them, and in general some hands on feed back other than the info on the H&K pages. I was very impressed with the engineering and design on the rifle, but Id like to gets some feedback from the people. Id appreciate whatever info anyone can give me. Thank You so very much, and good luck to all the Hunters out there for this new season!!!!!!

P.S.-- Id also like to extend my most sincere condolences to all those out there affected by the tragedies of Sept 11 2001.

I have one and I love it. Some people can't stand the ergonomics, but they work for me and my fiance. The gun is quite accurate, but I won't give you numbers until I get my scope setup on it. A lot of people complain about the lack of large capacity mags, which I think is moronic. This gun is a TARGET rifle, not a blasting rifle. For the price of a SL8, you can buy a Bushmaster or an Armalite and an excellent scope or sight. However, if HK would introduce a true civilian version of the G36. . .

Looks like you have adult tastes if nothing else.LOL .. Really tho this is one fine firearm which is not seen everyday at the range. Judging by your H&K name I can already tell this won't satisfy your craving for fine weapons. You might also try HKPro's forum when it comes back online for various threads concerning the SL-8. I will probably get an AR type rifle next, but the HK sure sets you apart from the other shooters at the range.
