Anyone else watch this on cable??

La Pierre did a poor job in my opinion. Rebecca Peters is a danger to free people everywhere.

LaPierre gave a poor answer to that woman who asked why we want to export our "Gun culture" around the world.

Rebecca Peters wants to controll everyone. Was sarcastic in her comments about America, she apparently hates the US. Used every hackneyed euro opinion about us. Claims we must conform and be citizens of the world and out rights subordinate to world standards.

The debate will have several encores on PPV, if you can possibly arrange to see it do so.

Isn't that sad? I have been on gun boards for a long time, and I have heard some very articulate, well spoken, well educated (not college grads..but the issues at hand), level headed people speak out about things on many of these boards...people that I am proud to have just read some of there posts, and almost everytime I hear someone speak on gun control in the general public, they end up sounding like some kinda crazed yeehaw, that lives "down in the holler". I always end up thinking "boy, I wish oh so-and-so was handling that... :confused:
 
I believe Lapierre did an excellent job of articulating his point of view and that of the NRA's. In fact his opposition was stunned and stammered a few times in trying to reply. Lapierre may not have been the best public speaker but Thomas Jefferson was considered the worst in history and how many of us are going to question Jefferson's intelligence. :cool:

I totaly agree, but then again, I'm not the one it needs "selling" to.. ;)
