The Glock bug bites again

Well, I keep setting myself up for these things. I was at my favorite gun dealer today to support the economy some more. He knew I had been looking for a H&K P7, so he had put a squeeze cocker aside for me. Unfortunately, it was a P7M13, full chrome job (yuck) with wooden grips and in need of a good cleaning. To top it off, the price tag was $1150, which was a little steep even for a legendary gun like that.

Soo....I look around, and just before I get ready to leave for the day, they put a brand new looking Glock 22 into the display case. I ask to see it, and it turns out to be a factory restored old style frame model without finger grooves or rails. Best of all, it had two pre-ban 15-rounders in the box with it. I just couldn't pass it up, and I needed a full-size gun to keep the Glock 26 company.

Feels good to carry a gun with its full complement of ammo in the grip. Fifteen rounds of .40 S&W...yow. The G19 with the ten-rounders always felt kind of handicapped. This is my first .40 S&W, so I guess I graduated from a Niner tonight.

Good choice!!!

I own a 3rd generation 23 & 27 and love them both. They are accurate, reliable, easy to clean and of course virtually indestructable...

The nice thing about the 3rd gen models, the frames have been beefed up so you can switch out the .40S&W barrel and drop in a .357sig barrel and have two, 2, two guns in one!!!

good luck....
