The Gentlelady from California proposes

Understand that the above mentioned, Senator Feinstein plans to offer legislation that would require the licensing of gunowners and the registration of all firearms.

Based on USSC ruling in Hayes v. U.S., if such law were enacted, it would only apply to the law abiding, since criminals or others who were "proscribed from ownership/possession of arms", could not be required to register any arms they illegally held, due to strictures AGAINST self incrimination.

Aren't the workings of the law, sometimes truly amazing to look upon?

I propose we send Feinstein, Schumer, Lautenburg an initiative to register all Jews. I'm not anti-semetic at all...but I want to remind them that registration is how Hitler started with the Jews prior to WW II.

Ezekial:

I doubt that it would make ANY impression at all, the possibility of you being anti-semetic being entirely BESIDE THE POINT.

Ezekial,
The only effect that would have is that you would probably be charged with a "Hate Crime". These guys have a very serious case of CRS. Their little siphillitic minds have gone completely beserk.

So that means that if we fail to register then we are now breaking the law thus not "law Abiding" so now we don't have to register ourselves or firearms.

Did I state the Catch 22 right?

I do not think you have it quite right, though I could be wrong. I believe that you had to FIRST be a proscribed person, say a convicted felon, in order to benefit from Hayes v. U.S.

And who was it that claimed that "crime doesn't pay", just take a fast look at the former Congressman from the Chicago area, one Dan Rostenkiwski. I understand he is making a hell of a lot more money as a "consultant" than he ever did as a Congressman
