The Fuschia .45-easily my hardest kicking handgun!

Put 100 rounds of 230fmj Wolf through it and man does it kick!
A friend and i were amazed at how much harder it kicked than his Ruger P-97.Mag "holds"10 rounds but would always jam on the second round if more than 8 were loaded (anyone else have this problem?).Jamming consists of round trying to slide into the barrel at a slight right angle and thereby locking the slide to the rear. What is the most likely cause for this kind if jam?It happened to me 5-6 times during the first 100 rounds.I hope its just a break in issue,as i have had other semis do this exact same thing for the first couple hundred rounds and then be fine after that.

It's probably the magazine.
Stratfordholdings picked up a whole box full of mags really cheap... a few of them if I recall would cause odd things like that.
Find the reliable mags and just use the others for the range.

BTW, good gun in my opinion. I'd like to have a green one with the longer barrel.

Tropical Z, I have a few mags for my DDA. The followers in a couple of them would hang up a tad. I took them apart. They had rough spots that made them hang up in the mag body. I lightly sanded the followers so they are smooth now they work fine. Mark

My wife

I bought one of these for my wife. She saw it and decided she wanted one. I tried to talk her out of it becuase I was afraid the recoil would be too much. To my great surprise the recoil if minimal, in fact my 1911 has more felt recoil then the Daly.
She is able to make 2in groups at feet with it.

I've never taken a mag apart, but i'll see if i can figure it out.I hope thats the problem.
kbsrn-i was surprised at your post
The only thing i can shoot that even comes close is my 2"EAA windicator running Fiocchis .357mag.

 It's the COLOR causing that malfunction! The round feeding into the chamber is turning it's head to the side in shame from being fed into a pink pistol :D

Try blindfolding your ammo before you load it in the mag next time... :D :D :D

Tropical, turn the mag over. If you look at the base there is a hole in the middle. Take something pointy and push in the button while sliding the base off the mag. Once the base comes off you can pull out the spring and the follower. Mark

That color might have some psychological value...

If the BG sees what he's up against, he may not have enough composure to either initiate or return fire.:D

I'm not certain but it may be that your slide is short cycling and that can be from a relatively weak round, an overly strong recoil spring or limp wristing the shot.

The .45 ACP is a relatively low pressure round and it's hard to understand why you are perceiving so much recoil. Can you add anything to that?
