The feel of Polymer

I prefer the feel of Polymer in my hand over a steel or aluminum frame. I also have found that rubber grips tend to be too wide for my taste and you still have some metal in your hand.
I would like to know how many people, like myself prefer the feal of a Polymer grips. (Glock, H&KUSP,WaltherP99, SIG-PRO, Springfield XD, etc, etc).

I prefer the aluminum frame feel of the Sig "Classic" P
series. Just seems more natural to me.

Polymer frames feel like silicone boobs.

Fun, but the real things are mo betta.

Seriously, my only complaint about the polymer frame on my Ruger .22/45 is the vibration.

Nothing felt more at home in my hands than my 1911..ok maybe there were a couple of other things:D I'm now just starting to get used to my P-99's grip but it's not the same.

I use to HATE plastic guns. Felt like toys. Then, I bought my 1st USP. Since then, I've learn to appreciate it. Curiously, that appreciation started after I stopped using the rubber slip on grip.
Now, I still have non-polymer favorites too; my P7M8 & my semi-custom Colt 1991a1

I much prefer a polymer frame. The new Glock with the thumb rest and finger groves is just perfect for me, especially the G19. Polymer grips are warm feeling and solid. In fact, since I bought my Glocks (G17,G19) I can't hardly stand to fondle a metal framed gun. Thinking about a G34 or G26 next.

I much prefer the feel of a 1911's grip, but I prefer the weight of a Glock. Regarding the "feel", the only thing I don't like are alloy frames as they feel too slippery to me.

I'll second the "too slippery" feel of alloy and especially polymer. I never let a plastic frame in the door without one of those furry AGrips. Still prefer a single-stack with rubber handles.

I love the feel of G19. It fits my hand perfectly. All the others feel really "blocky" (I guess that is a word). Until I can find metal framed gun to fit as good as my glock...I am a poly man.:)

I prefer the weight and feel of an aluminum or steel frame myself. But for the grips, plastic works just fine. The hard pebbled texture works well for me, and won't grab on anything for concealed carry.

I do not notice a great deal of difference between the classic SIG's I shoot (225 & 226) and the glock 34 I shoot.

But then, I like to shoot! :)
