This is my ideal DA .357 Magnum. It's my S&W Model 586, its "odometer" standing at 6,550 rounds fired.
The gun came with plain grips. I saw a K-22 with striking grips, and commented to my dealer "It'd almost be worth buying that .22 just to get the grips." I went back a week or two later, and the .22 had been sold. But behind the counter were these grips, the buyer had put Pachmayer grips on a .22! I immediately shelled out the asking price of $10 for these grips.
Here is its 4" counterpart, with S&W Combat grips:
I got these shortly after parting with my Python, and never looked back. I carried the 4" gun daily for awhile. Finally went over to the .44 Special.
