Hello everyone,
I have not been here for a while, and intend to remedy that soon. But I just saw on the internet news that one of my favorite Firearms and Hunting writers, Greg Rodriguez has been murdered. The only info I have is that he was killed by the husband of a business associate that was to meet him at an airport, and that the jealous(?) husband killed him in a fit of rage, beat his wife, and at some point took his own life. Apparantly, there was a two year old daughter of the killer involved at some point, but I have no details of that. This may not be accurate, but it is what I have read so far.
Greg wrote for Shooting Times, Guns and Ammo, and other mags I believe. He was a very good writer in my opinion, and wrote extensively of his Safaris in Africa, where, I believe he was a licensed Safari guide. I will miss his writing and hope that this is sorted out properly. I think he left a wife and children, he was only in his 40's
What a shame.
