The death of Greg Rodriguez

Hello everyone,
I have not been here for a while, and intend to remedy that soon. But I just saw on the internet news that one of my favorite Firearms and Hunting writers, Greg Rodriguez has been murdered. The only info I have is that he was killed by the husband of a business associate that was to meet him at an airport, and that the jealous(?) husband killed him in a fit of rage, beat his wife, and at some point took his own life. Apparantly, there was a two year old daughter of the killer involved at some point, but I have no details of that. This may not be accurate, but it is what I have read so far.

Greg wrote for Shooting Times, Guns and Ammo, and other mags I believe. He was a very good writer in my opinion, and wrote extensively of his Safaris in Africa, where, I believe he was a licensed Safari guide. I will miss his writing and hope that this is sorted out properly. I think he left a wife and children, he was only in his 40's
What a shame.

I read about it last night. It's very sad. The police have stated that they don't believe Mr. Rodriguez and the lady were romantically involved, apparently the husband was one of those nuts you run across sometimes and he just flipped out.

The shooting world has been hit hard with deaths lately. Bob Munden, Chris Kyle, John Noveske, that guy who was affiliated with FPSRussia, and now Mr. Rodriguez. It's been a rough few months.

I'm speechless. Didn't he have his daughters involved in shooting and hunting as well? Damn.......that just ruins my day.
