Yep, you read that correctly on the last picture, conversion to DAO and with a 6.5# trigger pull. And for those who know me, I am in love! The trigger is exceptionally smooth and a joy to shoot. Unlike my P-09 MHS, which has an external physical safety, CZC did what I will call simply locking out my decock lever, which essentially makes it nothing more than a dead pedal with no movement for my thumb to rest on/against (as I did when it was an active decocker).

Looks like I might have finally found a new #1 EDC over my CZ 100. No worries however, it is still #2 in my pistol family...

I have always wanted a cz75 or sp01 in .40

That seems like some great work they did for you. Question though, why would you want DAO? Seems like a pain in the butt. Super long trigger pull each and every shot. So if you cock the gun and there is a round in the chamber, the hammer doesn't get cocked, and the trigger doesn't move backward for SA?

Craziness

A couple questions:

1. With less mass in the hammer, did they have to lighten the firing pin springs even more than usual for the lighter main spring?
2. Did they remove the safety stop on the hammer?

Thank you, they did excellent work for me! Not craziness at all, especially if you are an old(er) revolver shooter. If you notice in the last picture, all four of those pistols are true DAO, which happens to be my preference. Long and short, I was raised on revolvers and forbidden to cock it into single action, having to focus and concentrate on a smooth, steady trigger pull (uncle was an old cop, and a great teacher might I add).

Later on in life I carried an M9 in the Corps, then purchased DAO's as my personal carry pieces (Beretta 96D Centurion and Ruger P95 DAO - wish I still had those, d*** divorce!). Fast forward to present time, and I am still using what works best for me, which is a true, revolver style DAO. The longer, heavier trigger pull doesn't bother me in the least and I prefer it.

A couple questions:

1. With less mass in the hammer, did they have to lighten the firing pin springs even more than usual for the lighter main spring?
2. Did they remove the safety stop on the hammer?
1. Their choice of using a 13# mainspring was in response to my request desiring a trigger pull in the 7# range, give or take a few as the original stock DA pull registered between 8.5 to 8.75# (they got me a 6.5#, just like the Sig P250).

2. To my knowledge they did not remove the safety stop on the hammer. However, unless I screw up remembering what I was told, they polished the firing pin block so that I would not get a "Phantom Reset" when the trigger hit the normal SA reset point.

The trigger has a smooth pull back to firing, followed by a smooth release all the way back forward with no interruptions. It feels like a nice revolver trigger that has been lightened up just a tad.

Hopefully these will upload properly:

Nice. I've become more and more of a DA afficonado ever since I got my GP-100. I'm now considering a switch to the Sig 290RS as my carry gun; I just wish it had the 250 trigger in it.

What did the project cost you after everything? I was looking into getting the P09 and wouldn't mind a double action trigger pull reduction. Would be keeping it DA/SA though.

I have not shot any DA pistols with a nice light, smooth pull. I usually carry a striker fired pistol, but I would love to try yours. A good DA trigger is a wonderful thing. I love the trigger on my GP100, and it is #10+. Very nice custom job.

VERY HAPPY! The P-07 is one of only two pistols that seems like it was custom-made to be a perfect fit for me in all aspects (the other is the CZ 100).

I've tried about everything else on the market, and nothing equals it for me.
