The Cup Song with guns

Have you guys seen this video that came out last month?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QtM7X0xYN8

It's a guy that is "playing" the Cup Song but using his guns for the rhythm with lots of rack tap bangs and sometimes even shooting two handed. It's a very impressive display in my opinion but am I the only one that was watching that that was concerned that the camera operator was too far forward of the firing line? Looks like a dangerous spot to be anytime but especially when someone is trying a trick like this. A tripod would have been a much better solution, I think.

Yes, I saw that a week or two ago and while I admire his skill – guns are not toys. We should not be playing with guns like this or encouraging others to do this. Even if this guy is super skilled and never has an issue someone else will.

guns are not toys.

And neither are automobiles.

Does that mean we can't play with them?

They are tools. We do lots of things with our tools that does not produce any valuable work. That's play, in my book.

Yes, I understand. I’m just concerned that while many people can engage in trick shooting with no negative issues these videos inspire the irresponsible among us who end up in trouble. I guess ultimately everyone is free to engage in these activities if they wish.

Did anyone notice that all of his videos have around 1,000 views or less except this one which is currently a little over 3.3 million views?

Pretty impressive, but that Walther P22 kept malfunctioning and he still didn’t miss a beat.

I thought that was intentional- the rhythem requires him to rack the slide.

It's a P22- malfunctions are predictable :D

Actually, I was referring to the part where he was standing with the two handguns in each hand. That is when that P22 was malfunctioning. He had to push the slide forward with his thumb several times.
