The Capital Gang Predicts Gore Victory

I just got a worried call from my parents alerting me to the above prediction. The Democrats have their talking points out and they have all been smoking "Waky Tobaccy"

The unbiased media would never use their power to get people not to go to the polls. Predicting a Gore victory is the single best way to get people not to vote. Don't fall for the baloney.

Fear not my friends. The Maja Rushdie predicted that this would happen last week. It is the traditional Democrap attempt to scare Republicans away from the polls. DO NOT LISTEN!!! Get out and vote on Tuesday!!! ;)

Tracking Polls - 11/5/00
11/5/00
Bush Up 6.6% Overall Bush Gore
RCP Tracking - 11/5 47.2 40.6

Battleground - 11/4 46.0 37.0

Rasmussen - 11/5 48.0 41.2
Zogby/MSNBC - 11/5 46.0 44.0
Gallup/CNN - 11/5 48.0 43.0
ABC/WP - 11/4 48.5 45.5
IBD/TIPP - 11/5 47.6 38.8

Battleground was within 1% of the actual vote in both 1996 and 1992.

This is going to be 1980 not 1960. Bush win win rather large. The Dems must not have seen the newest CA polls. Bush is tied or only down 2.

Even Zogby's tracking poll of Florida has gone from a Gore 11 pt lead to a 1 pt lead. He was messing up down there and is in CYA mode.

Zogby is showing CA 44 Gore 42 Bush. If our base is as motivated as they say it is, we will actually win CA.

Take that you Dems !

ps Al Hunt is the worst type of Democrat - don't listen to him. I rate him slightly higher than whale $#!t. Paul Begala, Bob Schrum, and Ed Rendell are below whale $#it.

pss. I have never been a huge fan of Limbaugh-that's just becuase I don't listen to radio at work; however, this election season I've had him on every day. He predicted the media would do that. He also predicted they would throw the 'kitchen sink' at Bush on Wed or Thurs. They did it Thurs. So the media is just doing what they do, pull for the liberal

Al Hunt, Margaret Carlson and Mark Shields are three of the most liberal journalists out there. Unfortunately, they're also in positions of power at the Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine and (forgot Al Hunt's). I'm not a big fan of Bob Novack; he's a country club Republican. Kate O'Beirne has a good head on her shoulders, though. But in the end, all of these people are handicapping, plain and simple. The Bush base is motivated. It's almost palpable. I don't know that the same can be said for Gore's people. As I mentioned over on General Discussion, while working the phone banks yesterday, I was actually able to convert a Gore voter to Bush! What are the odds of the opposite happening? The Bush voters would go to the polls in a blizzard. If one of the networks ran a 12-hour "Best of Oprah" marathon, Gore would only get 12% of the vote.

Here is my prediction for the vote:

- Ghore won't get more than 115 electoral votes
- He will not win in Tenn.
- Bush will win in PA or FL or both
- Bush will take CA, OR, NV and perhaps WA
-Gore will get one of the "battleground" states (MI, MO, IL) but only one, probably IL, due to Chicago.

Place your bets, you heard it here first.

Sorry to be the party pooper, but didn't we have all of this over confidence in 1996 regarding the House and Senate Seats? Don't be surprised if Gore wins. I hope Bush wins, but I won't be surprised if Gore does win tomorrow. Just remember the socialists elected Clinton not once, but twice.

Thanks, Albin. I like your predictions. Here's mine:

Gore wins MA, NJ, VA, NY, IL, MI.
Bush wins PA, FL, GA, TN, OH, IN.
Gore wins Most of New england, WI.
Bush wins TX, MO, OK, MS, AL, IA.

By the time polls close in these states, Bush will be declared the winner by the network news. West coast dems won't bother to go finish out the vote and CA, OR, and WA go to Bush, giving him a landslide.

Hoping and praying... AND VOTING! :)

Gore will get Somalia, Haiti, Yugoslavia, North Korea and Cuba.

His friend Bill will pull out of Monica and swear off interns in favor of Holllllywoood starlets.

Hilllllarrry will rule New York and help to found a long lasting group of comrads that will live in socialist heaven. New York gets what it deserves. She will actually move her LA girlfriend out to New York while raising large amounts of money centered around a political career for Baba Streisandy. Betting that the natural business cycle will result in an economic downturn over the next four years, Hillary will be forming a national "Hillary for President" exploratory committee.

The Stanford first daughter will be starting her campaign for the elections of 2032.

Those of us in California see our state turning further left and eventually using jails to house unregistered gun owners.

George W. will be the man. Hope that he has more political backbone than the Republican Congress.

At www.realclearpolitics.com they show Bush ahead in ALL-repeat-ALL polls. (Their own electoral projection of 446 for Bush is, IMHO, too optimistic.) Of course, the only poll that really counts is on election day, so be sure you VOTE!

Apparently California Dems are registering illegal aliens to vote; in other places Dems are bribing the homeless with cigarettes to go and vote Democratic. So your vote really counts.

I came across a term I hadn't heard recently: "broken glass Republicans." These are people who detest Clinton/Gore so much they'd walk barefoot across broken glass to vote against them.

I guess I'm one . . . OUCH! :D

I'm a broken-glass Republican too.

The NAACP is also registering prisoners. Talk about pathitic, but it just shows how much we need to vote.
