The election is less than a month away. When will you be sending the petition to the Republican National Committee?

Bluesman, I'll send the petition after the election which, I hope, will put Bush in office. This isn't an ego issue with me when I complain about the number of signatures. If another petition got hoards of signatures, I'd be jumping up and down. It just toasts me that a petition to "save our Napster" was getting 70,000 signatures an hour. Even a petition to have the Backstreet Boys admitted to some Grammy awards thing got more signatures. I guess it's just frustrating that gun owners don't care enough about their rights to pursue a link and post their name.
And, believe me, thousands of gun club officers got emails with that link.

You can bet that, when I'm working the next couple of hunter sight-ins and handing out literature at the same time, I'll get that blank stare from them when I hand them a sheet of paper.

Don't yell at me... I signed it within a couple of days of it being posted on TFL.... I do understand your flustration. I often times feel it myself. Although I had our local republican canidate come and speak to our hunting club. Lots of questions and comments for him afterwords. His comment to me after the meeting... "This was the first time I've ever given a speach where afterwards I felt that I was the most liberal person in the room."

Richard, I'm not "yelling" at you or anyone else on TFL. I'm postive that most if not all of the members here who've seen the link have signed. If it weren't for TFL, and boards such as the Shottist's Center, I'd feel like I was all alone in this fight. Thanks for signing.
