Most people on here seem to have pretty diverse collections of handguns. I was curious what is everyone's BIGGEST and smallest handguns?

Feel free to list them terms of sheer physical SIZE, cartridge POWER or BOTH.

Mine are for SIZE:

BIGGEST:
Ruger Redhawk .44 magnum
smallest:
Ruger LCP .380 auto

Powerful:

Most:
Ruger Redhawk .44 magnum

Least:
Ruger 22/45 .22lr

Mouseguns to Hand Cannons. Pea Shooters to Bazookas. What is the spectrum of your collection? Anyone with a Kolibri and S&W 500 gets instant bragging rights.

Three of my largest:

Top photo:
S&W XVR 460 Mag w/ 8-1/2" compensated brl (my biggest)
Ruger SRH 44 Mag w/ 7-1/2" brl
S&W Classic Hunter II 41 Mag w/ 6-1/2" ported brl

Middle photo:
Dan Wesson 445 SuperMag w/ 8" vented brl

Bottom photo: After an afternoon on the range, Thanksgiving eve 2010:
S&W XVR 460 Mag sans scope
Kimber 45 acp Tactical Entry w/ light & laser
Ruger 380 acp (my smallest physically), and
Ruger Single Six (my smallest caliber).

The bourbon was just for show....no drinkin' 'til the cleanin's done and the guns put away. (Btw, the bourbon was a gift from my cousin and was fantastic -- Pappy Van Winkle 23 year old)

Depends on your definition of biggest and smallest...

Biggest -

Either the S&W 22-4 in .45 ACP (bigger frame) or S&W 686-4 in .357 mag (heaviest)

Smallest -

Either the Ruger LCP in .380 (lighter) or the Colt Vest Pocket in .25 ACP (smaller)

S&W XVR 460 Mag
Ruger SRH 480
Ruger Single Six with 22Mag cyl

Biggest: S&W 625MG in .45colt.

Smallest: NAA Guardian .32ACP

Power-wise, I'd say about the same.

The same? Consider these stats for standard factory loads:
45 Colt
200 gr bullet
1,100 fps muzzle velocity
540 ft-lbs muzzle energy
KO = 14

32 acp
60 gr
1,100 fps / 150 ft-lbs
KO = 3

Looking at the heavy loads from Buffalo Bore:
45 Colt +P
300 gr
1,325 fps / 1,170 ft-lbs
KO = 26 (the 44 Mag +P KO = 23)

32 acp +P
75 gr
1,150 fps / 220 ft-lbs
KO = 4

Biggest bore...

Automag 5 - 50 A.E.
Ruger custom super blackhawk 50 A.E. special

smallest / biggest...

Ruger Alaskan 454 Casull

smallest bore...

17 K hornet Contender
17 Remington Contender

smallest... NAA Mini 22 lr

caliber or weight? I have two .45 1911s; my heaviest handgun is my wonderful 686+ ... smallest is my NAA Pug, .22mag, one-inch barrel.

Biggest - Remingto XP100R .260 - 26" in overall lentgh and almost 12" in overall height with the scope.

Smallest - Old Butler .22 short derringer.

smallest would be .22lc
and largest .44mag

the .44mag is my super black hawk 10.5" barrel
the .22lc is a north American arms mini revolver 1 1/8" barrel

no .500 s&w for me, i dont see the point but a .460 will happen so i can get three calibers in one

I'm sorry, but you've misunderstood. I didn't mean that the two listed guns were of the same power level, but rather that the listing of each as the heaviest/lightest loads in my collection.
