Can you assume what would happen if Mr. Schulze was still alive and tried to put THAT cartoon in newspapers across America today?
 
Remember Funky Winkerbean, when Les was a high school student?

He' often serve as hall monitor, and would be shown with a M1917 mounted on the desktop...

I DO remember those. That used to be a pretty funny strip.

Another good one was in an old book I had from the '70's. Les is sitting around the house, he's thinking about getting a pizza, but he decides he shouldn't spend the money 'cause he needs to spend up, so he gets up and flicks the television on.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Counterpoint. Tonight, our panel will be discussing the amazing overkill capacities of the American and Soviet nuclear arsenals...."

(Les decided to get that pizza!)
