The Ban has ended.

Well, these guys are certainly ahead of the game, for a change. In the links on the opening page they answer the "LE Only" question. Nice.

........ And I just got done dis-assembling and cleaning 3 AKs that I recently acquired and now I have to get rid of these ugly thumbhole stocks.

We're holding a celebration gathering on October 30th, how are you guys going to celebrate? :D

After a 5 minute rest...

Let's go after the NFA. I want an M-16 A3, and I want it legal, and I don't want to pay a $200.00 tax. I want to buy it at my local hardware store. I want it to be a new Colt's, in the box, and I want to pay the same that the U.S. govenment pays for the rifle.

Take it easy. First, lets go after the import ban, 86 MG ban, and keep working our way backwards.

Anyway, the first thing I want gone after this is the handgun/HG ammo age dropped to 18. There is no reason why I shouldn't be able to buy ammo for a gun I legally own.

Wow, I have to say that somewhere deep inside, I wouldn't believe it until it actually happened and I saw proof with my own two eyes. I guess this qualifies... Does this mean if I buy a new H&K USP, I can get standard capacity mags with it? I wonder how long before the gun stores stock them? :D

Kudos and thanks to all who stood up and made their voice heard in the political process.

We won!

One victory is a coincidence.

Two is a trend.

Three is outright mayhem. :D

Well, after midnight tonight anyway. Hey, I just heard Chuck Schumer on the teevee (with DiFi at his side) say, with a straight face, "we have found a definite connection between terrorists and these assault weapons".

I was 14 when the ban was put in place and so I've never legally been able to buy a new firearm with the "evil features" on it until today. THANK GOD IT'S OVER!!!

Of course now money is the limiting factor on my purchases, but being legally allowed to buy if I do come up with the cash is a nice feeling. In the meantime, I've already converted my AR-15, and am going to get a new upper in a week. :)

Went to the Bushmaster site, no notice, LE pages still intact, but then I looked at the product offering for the M4, and noticed this:
The XM15 E2S M4 14.5" Bbl. Carbine is shipped complete with 30 round magazine...
Ain't it sweet.

Unfortunately, you still can't get that 14.5" barrel because of NFA laws. Personally I wouldn't want one that short, but that's just me.

I know how you feel I was about the same age!! My name is Jason too!!! :D

The nightmare is finally over!

Not to be cynical, but I expected a little more enthusiasm from this board upon the AWB expiration. We all fought long and hard to see this, and I am just not seeing the volume of responses that I though this thread would garner. I realize this is bittersweet in that this is a fight we should never have had to have fought to begin with but lets get energized. Suck it up and lets keep the momentum going. Contrary to the opinion of most of the media outlets, we are in the right on this. Do not grow complacent and let all of our hard work go down the toilet in a few months. Keep the pressure on. This is just the start of the fight, not the end. So come on guys (and gals)- HOW ABOUT THREE CHEERS FOR OUR SIDE!!!

Now get back out there and keep fighting...

Too bad it doesn't change a thing out in Kalifornia. All day long yesterday Dykeanne Feinwhine was howling about how awful it will be now that criminals can go into neighboring states and get assault weapons and bring them into Kali....
