The Atomic Frizzen

How many of old timers remember the Russ Hamm Atomic Frizzen? It was
sold back in the early 70's for 5.00. You got enough to drill 3 holes in it and
riviet it onto your frizzen. It didn't matter the condition of your flint. Everything sparked well. I just made a video of mine on a Thompson Center
lock. I have had this since about 1973.

I bought a used 32 caliber flint lock on line, & it has something similar... ( doesn't look rivited on... looks glued or welded ) & uses a piece of steel in place of the flint... I think it's Ferocerium ( modern fire stater rod )

BTW... this is my 1st attempt at flint lock ( so to speak ) but it shoots awesome... in my 1st 5 shots ( while figuring out what I was doing ) the last 3 shots I could cover with a dime at 30 yards

Ahhhhh . . . . Russ Hamm locks . . . . Bill Large barrels . . . Myron Carlson's hand forged furniture . . . . . now you're talking nostalgia! Those were the days . . . . sigh . . . .
