> Dear MMM Phx Rally Attendees,
>
> First, and foremost, THANK YOU!!! for taking time from your weekend to
> participate in the most successful first time event in the history of
> Patriot Square Park. The Park officials are quite experienced in
> estimating crowds and they determined that we gathered 1500 people on
> Sunday, May 14! (And I'm sure that's just the crowd that could make it!)
>
> SO----now we march on!!!!! We will be working closely with devoted
> national gun violence prevention organizations like the Bell Campaign,
> the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, PAX, Handgun Control Inc., and
> States United.
> Locally, we will work with CAPGV (Citizens of Arizona to Prevent Gun
> Violence). We will form citizen committees and ask for meetings with our
> elected officials (including congressional candidates). We want to
> survey these potential lawmakers and determine where they stand
> regarding a commitment to passing sensible gun laws.
> Our overall goal is to peacefully cause the most significant voter
> turnout for a presidential election in the history of the State of
> Arizona.
> If you do not wish to remain on our email list---please send a reply
> and we will remove you immediately. Otherwise, we thank you for
> commiting to making our elected officials understand "enough is enough".
> We will not be silent any longer.

Those numbers are way, way off. Remember that we had about 50 of us inside the chainlink fence. Even without that, the numbers were quite even.

The difference is that we go there first, were louder, had more fun, had more signs, actually marched rather than just sitting on our butts, stayed and made the demoralized MMMers cross our gauntlet (when their speechifying was done) and stayed after they all left. What a bunch of troopers.

Rick, I heard you were behind the wheel of the U-Haul truck ... great idea. 'Crooks 4 Gun Control' ... what a neat job.

Lets merge the two anti gun oeganizations,
CAP Gun violence and HALT
together. :D

The new organization will be called

" HALT CAP GUN VIOLENCE "! ;)

This , at least, makes more common sense to me that anything else that these two organization are attempting to foist off on the American People.

P.S. I LOVE THAT TRUCK!!!!

GUN CONTROL puts THE CONTROL
in the hands of THE CRIMINALS.

-----------------------------------------------
In 2000, we must become politically active in
support of gun rights or we WILL LOSE the right
& the freedom.
-------------------------
NO FATE BUT WHAT WE MAKE!!!
----------------------
Every year, over 2 million Americans use firearms
not to take live but to preserve life,....limb & family
.Gun Control Democrats would prefer that they are all disarmed
and helpless and die victims of felony violence, instead.

Wow, these people really are delusional.
Their delusions run all the way from their policies to their support of the masses.
1500 people on their side? Give me a friggin break. I was there. We counted them. They had a few hundred at best.
I am beginning to wonder if these people are even sane.

I have not seen anyone on our side skewing the numbers and claiming that our turnout was ten times what it really was.

They claim 1500 in Phoenix, and 1200 in Tucson, and then that
quote:
Together we showed that even in the "wild wild west"
> of Arizona that the majority of people wants and supports sensible gun
> laws.[/quote]

Yup, 2700 Moronic Mommies out of the whole population of the state of AZ equals a majority, all right. THBBBBBBBBBBBT!!!!!!!!!

Only in America, we're slaves to be free/Only in America, we kill the unborn, to make ends meet/Only in America, sexuality is democracy/Only in America, we stamp our god "In God we trust"

My soul sings a different song, in America

If it isna Scottish, it's CRAP! RKBA!

More realistic counts show about 300 in Phx and 200 in Tuscon.

They weren't even very impressive. They came, saw a couple speeches, and went home with their tail between their legs because the Pro-Rights protestors were raising heck! The MMM in AZ was very unimpressive in their strength and conviction.
