They’re all nominal weights, anyway. Doesn’t really matter whether it’s 122, 124, 125 gr, etc. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

M MikeG New member Apr 19, 2020 #3 Just guessing, but they probably designed the bullet in the size and shape they wanted, and the weight happened to end up as 122 grains.

D Dufus New member Apr 19, 2020 #4 Bullet weight changes with the type of alloy a person uses. Example: one of my 9mm hollow point molds is designed to throw 125 gr bullet. With my alloy for that bullet, it comes out 135 gr.
