I am going to try to get through this without looking like blubbering sentimental old man I will never in the rest of my life be able to tell you how much all the good wishes and prayers meant to me. I will tell you that it certainly impressed the hospital staff. One made a comment about the fact that it was evident that I was a very loved man and I said all the cards and flowers were from my family. I didn't say that it was my internet family as in my mind there is no difference! I never thought that cards and flowers were really worth the effort and probably wouldn't mean much to the receiver. I can tell you how wrong I was and that that each and every card has been read 4 or five times and will go on the wall as trophies from a lot of dear friends. There is no doubt that the power of prayer is an accumulative thing and when the lord heard all of the ones for me he decided to grant them even though I wasn't worthy Thanks again!PS The flowers the staff sent were absolutely buetiful!

We'll I couldn't care if I do look like a blubbering old man! You are a sight for sore eyes, Gale. We missed you, we talked about you; we prayed for you. Guess we just L-L-L, Ummm L-L-L.

Aw, shucks! DC, you tell him!

So very, very good to see you. Our prayers will fully be answered when you tell us that you're back on 8 cylinders.

Please continue to overcome any obstacles between yourself and perfect health! It s perserverence by persistence on your part, and that's what I pray for, the most. However, you've probably got that part wrapped up. You have this reputation...

;)

Gale, you have just made my year! And it's still a young year. Very glad to see you back. There is still a whole lot of wisdom left for you to give to us young whippersnappers. Ok, not all of us are young, but we sure can use your wisdom.

Well Gale, I personally have an extremely deep fondness for old men. The wisdom, experience, perceptions aquired and common sense learned all make up "old men".

You are cared for and loved, old man.

Now, for re-payment I expect you to take it easy, obey the docs and Mrs Gale and get well.

The ya can be an ornery old man...I like them too :)
Bless you Gale

Gale, it is wonderful to see you back on TFL. And, you are certainly worthy ... a great many people appreciate all you have done, as well as your wisdom. Thanks for sharing that wisdom on TFL - we need you.

And, DC, I suspect there is now an international series of palpitations upon hearing that you appreciate older men. Ahhhhh ... ;)

Old? Who is old? Wise, is more like it. As for being a 'blubbering sentimental', I for one, surely am. Welcome back Mr.McMillan, you were missed & I am glad all the member can use your wisdom.
Regards.
Anand.

It is great to see you posting here, Gale, and I am so glad that our prayers have been answered! And this whipppersnapper certainly would appreciate all the wit and wisdom you have to share.

Keep that positive attitude going...and remember that your family here continues to send its prayers and support. :)

Gale;

As you probably know Marines sentimental... but seeing that I've been retired for a couple years...

I am overjoyed by your current SitRpt. There a precious few with, not only the knowledge you poses, but the willingnes to share that knowledge with others and not ask for anything in return.

Though it looks like Rich has got tounge tied, I'll see if I can spit it out...

Gale, You are much loved! Not only on TFL but through out the firearms community!

WELCOME BACK, SIR!!

Mac, You're back! What a difference a day makes! Don't you think you had better rest a day or two more before asking all the female members what you can do for them?
