I went with the P226. I found one in mint condition stamped made in Germany and "Tillhör Polisen." It's a 9mm and is the 226 with the hidden extractor. It came with 2 mags, case, and manual and it was only $529. I haven't shot it yet but I'll give you the full report. By the way, does anyone have any info on what the above mentioned means or signifies? Also, is $529 a decent price? Thanks again for all your help.

Zauer, glad you found the gun for you. Beretta Elite or Sig P226 doesn't matter, shoot it safe and shoot it well...

"Tillhör Polisen" is Finish, maybe Swedish. I haven't known anyone who spoke either language since I was six years old, so I'm not sure I have the correct translation. I think it means Official Police. My Finish is worse than my German, but better than my Chinese. ;)

Okay, I was almost right. It isn't a Finish word, it's Swedish. Tillhör means belong to, not official. What can I say, I wasn't born in Helsinki. ;) Tillhör Polisen means belong to the police. I guess I'll just have to go to Sweden and brush up on my Swedish! ;)
