I went to my favorite pawnshop yesterday
and they had just received a BAIKAL IJ-70
AK 2615.

It was used but looked about 90% and they let me have it for $180.00 out the door.

They gave me 3 days to test the gun and had a full money back guarantee policy if I didn't like it.

Well I did like it, I fed 150 rounds through it
without as much as a hiccup, trigger was great
and accuracy was better than any other small
.380/pocket 9 I have ever tried.

Again, thanks to all who answered my makarov questions and recommended this fine pistol!

You just can't go wrong with the Makarov. Single best budget concealment auto on the market. I have had russion, east german, chinese and bulgie maks. Never a problem with any of them, and accuracy that would make most hand gunners look twice. Congrats on the purchase!

Look out, you may want more than one. I'm getting an unissued Bulgarian military Mak this week to go with my EG.
 
Most of the major distributors like SOG and J&G are out right now. I got mine from ammoman.com & they ran out shortly after I placed my order.

KY Imports says they have commericial Bulgarians on their website, better call to confirm.
