Thank you Rich

It seems to me that quite a few folks here do not realize the effort that you put forth for all of us here on TFL. I honestly appreciate everthing that you do to keep this site the very best discussion board on the Web. To survive the growth that has occured over the last year is a major achievement in it's self.
Have any of the folks who are pissing and moaning about moving etc. noticed that there are no adds running etc.? This site requires time and money from somewhere doesn't it?
Thank's again!

Well said!
Thanks Rich...

A friend of mine, an older Texas lawman, forwarded something to me and a host of other people last night. It was a link to an essay. There was a follow-up essay, which he fwded in another email. In the 2nd email, he said something like:
I found this on a forum in a website. If you have any interest in shooting, firearms information, or the politics of personal freedom, you owe it to yourself to check out TheFiringLine.com.

I think that says something about what you've accomplished.

Yes, Lawd! Chillun, you doin' fine! Gooder even than good!

I heard Dennis say he liked TFL better than the XXX Sites, 'cause here, he can find useful information...

There is another thread here in which Rich made a post at 1:44AM on this Monday morning. These moves really cause him to burn the midnight oil so we may all come here to share, learn and play.
Thank you Rich and staff. You are greatly appreciated!

We live in a time in which attitudes and deeds once respected as courageous and honorable are now scorned as being antiquated and subversive.

I HEARD THAT, ART!

I *know* where you live, ya know! I even have overhead photography, remember?

Guys-
Thanks from all of us. As for the work...we're not complaining. We signed on for the task...that's why we get the big bucks.

Gunslinger-
Actually, I realized last move that the best time to do this was overnight. So, I spent the evening at Irlene Mandrell's Charity Shoot Banquet with Rob, Irlene, Alicia Wadas of Mother's Arms and a bunch of other great dinner companions. I bought a couple of hunting trips at auction, drank like a sailor and came home to TFL.

Everything went pretty well until the system started crashing during testing. Many thanks to Eric Powell from GlockTalk for finally figuring out the problem around noon today. In the packing, I had inadvertently dropped a program file into a data folder...he discovered it among the thousands of items in the Handgun Forum. I was looking right at it for about 4 hours!

Now if we can just get the re-index done without timing out, loosing connection or crashing, I will be one happy camper!.

At the risk of being redundant, I too have pondered offering gratitude and appreciation to Rich for his efforts in keeping TFL up and running and a place for us to “hang out”.

There have been previous threads thanking him for his efforts every couple of months, but it deserves saying it again.

Thanks for your dedication and devotion to “The Cause”, Rich.
