I would like to thank you for the courageous stand that your company has made in behalf of freedom and liberty. A stronger statement could not have been made to those tyrannts who strive to destroy the very essence of of our Constitution and Bill of Rights; nor to those poor misguided cowards, who would sell a little liberty for a little security (and deserve neither). This issue is above stockholder profit and corporate bottom line. It strikes at the very soul of freemen and women everywhere. It is an assault on the foundation of this nation. Those who have sold out to these forces of evil, thinking to save the corporate bottom line have sown the seeds of their own corporate demise. Truely your stand proves that the spirit of freedom is international in scope and an example for freedom loving people to emmulate. God bless you for the courage of your convictions.

I'm not currently a GLOCK shooter, but after hearing of GLOCK's stand against the attacks on our Freedoms, and S&W's traitorist acts, I'm planning the purchase of a new GLOCK now. I think a nice new Models 20 would be nice for this coming deer season.

ak9, Well spoken my friend. I too will be looking at a new Glock. I'm thinking the G35 Tactical as I type.

Never owned one, but am considering it.

Started to post http://glock.com/ as a way of expressing it personally, but I note that it's down and under construction. Mayhaps they're trying to figure out how to word the decision that they've made without giving the media sumpin' new to publish about those "baddies from Austia"...!

:)

Before we start getting all warm and mushy about Glock, remember that they've been and will continue to do their ballistic "fingerprinting" and sharing the info with F-Troop.

While I'm grateful that Jannuzzo finally found the stones to call the agreements by their true name -- extortion -- Glock still has a long way to go before they win me back.

hummm, 'warm and mushy'?.....yep, thats me! Think I'll go look at a 10mm to join my other 3 Glocks. This is the first positive thing thats happened in ages so let's stop the whining, please.

I think I'll too choose to support Glock with a purchase. I dont have a 10mm. Hummm, full size or compact? Perhaps if we stuck with 10mm glocks it would provide enough of a spike in the sales figures to bolster glocks resolve.

Make sure the guy who sells you the 10 knows why you are buying and and that he passes that info to the distributor and from there to the factory.

Well I did it. Got me a new BIG DAWG. I told the gunstore owner I had been planning on buying one anyway and glock's decision helped put the spurs to me. Hope he passes it along. I think I got a friend to buy the other M30 the shop has in stock too. Now I gotta get to the range and get me some Hydrashocks.

If you do buy a Glock or a Browning for their refusal to join S&W in betraying gun owners, let S&W know. If they only get messages informing them of the sales losses instead of messages of support, they may change their mind on the agreement.

Always inform a company of your boycot and follow up on how much money they're losing. It does add up. Companies don't like it when people remember and act on it.

This weekend, I just might buy that Browning Citori I've been admiring.

Long Path, "down" would imply that the website had ever been "up." It would have to have been built first.
:D
Man, some of you really AREN'T Glock guys, are you?

Good one. Actually, after owning 4 Glocks, I'm starting to seriously consider 1911's... :D Maybe a Browning .40?

Yep glad to see all these new glock buyers, esp... 10mm [model 20] it is a kick ass round and fine weapon platform to boot.

oh yea, thanks to Glock for = standing up to slick willy and his band of pirates. :) :)
